CARE is a research unit in the School of Civil Engineering which undertakes various research projects of environmental importance. Currently CARE is engaged in research in the following areas:

• Water distribution networks
• Bio gas from waste
• Landslide management and slope stability evaluation
• Effluent treatment
• Remote Sensing and GIS
